Move Well
ABOUT EMMA | BODYBLITZ FITNESS
Hi, I’m Emma — founder of BodyBlitz Fitness, Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor and women’s health and wellness specialist.
I’ve worked in the fitness industry for over 37 years and if I’m honest… fitness wasn’t always my natural place.
I hated PE at school.
I wasn’t sporty, coordinated or naturally confident and I certainly wasn’t the person everyone expected to end up building a career in health and fitness.
When I first started attending exercise classes after leaving school, I quickly realised something.
Fitness often felt intimidating.
The instructor stayed at the front, the regulars stayed together and beginners quietly hid at the back hoping nobody noticed them.
I remember thinking:
There has to be a better way.
So at 18, I qualified as an Exercise to Music Instructor and made it my mission to create something different.
Fast forward 35+ years and here we are now, with BodyBlitz Fitness .
Today I help women move more, feel stronger and build healthier habits in a way that feels realistic, supportive and enjoyable — whether that’s through classes, personal training, Pilates, WalkFit Silent Disco, online programmes or simply helping someone take their first step back into movement.
My approach combines movement, strength, mobility and wellbeing because health is about so much more than workouts alone.
You won’t find perfection here.
No punishment.
No extremes.
No intimidating gym culture.
Just expert guidance, encouragement and a welcoming community that meets you where you are.
Personally, I’ve experienced life changes too — including navigating hormonal shifts, raising two children and making the huge decision to move from Kent to beautiful North Norfolk and start again in Knapton.
That move reminded me of something I now tell my clients all the time:
It’s never too late to start.
Never too late to change.
And never too late to put yourself back on your own priority list.
So whether you’re joining me online, stepping into your first class or simply thinking about reaching out…
I’ve got you.
Emma x
